Think of credits as the fuel for our AI-powered security platform. You use them whenever you put our agents and tools to work to secure your applications.

What consumes credits?

• Running AI Agents: Deploying agents to perform tasks like vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, code analysis, and generating fixes consumes credits based on the duration and intensity of the task.

• Task Complexity: A deep, comprehensive scan of a large application will naturally use more credits than a quick check on a small component.

• Using Premium AI Models: You have access to various AI models. Using our most powerful, state-of-the-art models for analysis or code generation consumes credits at a higher rate.

What does NOT consume credits?

Your credits are only used when agents are actively processing tasks. Activities like viewing your dashboard, accessing reports, analyzing results from completed tasks, or storing data do not consume any credits.

Pay-as-you-Go (PAYG) is a full consumption-based model. You pay only for what you use, with no fixed monthly credit commitment. This is ideal when usage prediction is difficult or variable — it offers a lower entry cost and eliminates the risk of losing unused credits.

Subscription tiers (Pro, Advanced, Enterprise, Enterprise Plus) include a fixed monthly credit allocation tailored to predictable workloads. These tiers are designed for teams that have a steady operational cadence and want a known credit budget each month.

Both models are available across Organizations and MSSP families.

No, unused credits do not roll over. Your credit balance is reset to your monthly allocation at the beginning of each billing period. This applies to subscription tiers (Pro, Advanced, Enterprise, and Enterprise Plus). Pay-as-you-Go customers are billed on consumption, so there are no unused credits to roll over.

Regardless of your license tier, once the included monthly credits are fully consumed, any additional usage is billed under the Pay-as-you-Go model at the per-credit rate.

You maintain full control over this through platform controls and configurable limits that let you manage, cap, and govern how much additional consumption is allowed beyond your monthly allocation.

You can also purchase additional credit packs — either as a one-time boost for a specific month or as a recurring addition to your monthly pool — without changing your license tier.

Organizations tiers are designed for companies running their own internal offensive security programs. These tiers start with fewer workspaces (1) and scale users, credits, and concurrency to match your team's needs.

MSSP tiers are built for managed security service providers who deliver offensive security services to multiple clients. They include significantly more workspaces (10–20) to support multi-tenant operations, along with higher user counts and workspace-focused add-ons like Customer Workspace Packs.

Both families offer multiple tiers — from Pay-as-you-Go through Enterprise — so you can match the right capacity to your business model.

Yes. You can upgrade to a higher tier within your current family or switch between Organizations and MSSP families at any time. Contact our sales team to discuss the transition — they will help ensure a seamless migration with no disruption to your operations.

Add-ons let you scale specific dimensions of your license without changing your tier. There are three categories:

• Execution Credits: Purchase additional credit packs — applied as a one-time boost for a specific month or added as a recurring monthly expansion.

• Governance: Add extra named users or workspaces (Organizations) or Customer Workspace Packs (MSSP) to adjust your organizational structure independently of your credit allocation.

• Throughput: Concurrency packs expand your parallel execution capacity — adding engagements, plans, and playbooks — when you need more delivery parallelism.

All add-ons are configured through our sales team.

Licenses are structured around three dimensions: users, workspaces, and monthly credits.

Organizations tiers start at 5 users and 1 workspace, scaling up with higher tiers (e.g., 10 users on Advanced and above).

MSSP tiers start at 10 users and 10 workspaces, scaling to 25 users and 20 workspaces at the Enterprise level.

All dimensions can be expanded further with add-ons — you can add extra users, workspaces, or credit packs without changing your base tier.

Credits are allocated to the entire organization, creating a shared pool that all users can draw from. You can divide this credit pool among different Workspaces to manage resources for specific teams, clients, or projects.

Workspaces are isolated environments within your SpartanX account, perfect for managing different clients, business units, or development environments separately. You can add more workspaces as your needs expand.

These are the core execution concepts on the SpartanX platform, and the number included varies by tier:

• Engagements are concurrent offensive operations — think of them as active security campaigns running in parallel.

• Plans are execution plans within an engagement, defining the scope and approach for a specific testing effort.

• Playbooks are reusable automation templates that standardize and accelerate recurring security tasks.

Higher tiers include more of each, enabling greater parallelism and operational throughput. If you need additional capacity without upgrading your tier, Concurrency Packs are available as an add-on.

RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) provides granular control over user permissions within your organization — defining who can access, execute, or manage specific resources. RBAC is included in Advanced tier and above for both Organizations and MSSP families. Pay-as-you-Go and Pro tiers use a simplified permission model.

All tiers include Premium Support with access to our support team and platform training resources.

SLA-backed support with guaranteed response times is included on enterprise-level tiers: Enterprise and Enterprise Plus (Organizations), and MSSP Advanced and MSSP Enterprise (MSSPs).
